The poolhouse is an architectural statement, where organic interior forms harmonise with the overall design. Sculptural spaces flow seamlessly, creating a sense of immersion and connection. Raw, rural materials establish a distinct identity, while the cochlea-inspired layout introduces a unique rhythm that enhances the spatial experience.
Functional zones and passageways emerge as sharply defined, linear elements within the fluid interior. This juxtaposition creates a dynamic tension between organic and geometric forms, heightening the sensory engagement with the space.
Externally, the structure is a study in contrasts. Roughly stacked stone walls provide an earthy, textural base, counterbalanced by the sleek precision of copper-framed windows. A perforated canopy adds an element of lightness, casting intricate patterns of light and shadow that animate the exterior and reinforce the dialogue between raw and refined materials.
It results in a space that stands independently as a modern sanctuary, where materiality, form, and function converge to create an environment that is both evocative and enduring.
